Eversholt Rail 200 Mile Cycle Challenge

On Friday 25th April, 14 brave Eversholt Rail employees and a support crew started a 200 mile charity cycle challenge from Wabtec Rail in Doncaster, who sent them off in style and also made a very generous donation to the causes. The cycle ride was to take them through at least 7 counties in 2 ½ days.

They encountered heavy rain, strong head winds and occasionally a little bit of sunshine but their courage and determination saw them through to the finish line at Eversholt Rails offices in 210 Pentonville Road on Sunday, having completed a total of 207 miles.

The challenge was to raise money for 2 charities, Jubilee Sailing Trust and SANDS.  So far they have raised an amazing £21,000, if you would like to donate to these fantastic causes please go to http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/team/donnytolondonbybike

This was a fantastic effort by the team, many of which would not call themselves cyclists until now!
