Mk 4

Mk 4 coaching stock is leased to London North Eastern Railway. 

The coaches are purpose-designed for longer-distance services.  Currently operating with the 125mph Class 91 electric locomotive and Mk 4 Driving Van Trailer, the Mk 4 coaches have operated in passenger service with other electric locomotives, including the 110mph Class 90.   

There are 73 vehicles and 9 DVTs in the Mk 4 fleet.
