Class 380

The Class 380 fleet is leased to ScotRail.

These modern, high acceleration units provided the first electric services on ScotRail’s flagship Edinburgh – Glasgow route.  They are now used mainly on services in the Ayrshire and Inverclyde region of Scotland.

The fleet is currently configured as:

  • 22 x 3 car units
  • 16 x 4 car units
