The Class 318 fleet is leased to ScotRail.
It forms a key part of ScotRail’s Glasgow suburban services – regularly inter-operating with Class 320 and 320/4s.
The whole fleet has been fitted with at-seat power sockets, accessible toilet, dedicated wheelchair and cycles spaces, energy efficient LED lighting, WiFi and enhanced CCTV – including forward facing, energy meters and driver advisory system.
The fleet is currently configured as 21 x 3 car units.
